PLEASE HELP BODIE! He is a Mastiff, maybe a Great Dane, who was abused, abandoned & starved. According to the vet, Bodie was starved for months & weighs half of what he should. He was brought to our Kennels on April 16 by a caring person. Our Kennel Manager is feeding him brewers' yeast, amino acids, vitamins, ground meat & raw eggs. Hairless & limping, Bodie is an absolute love &, despite the abuse, still trusts people. He sits on your foot & looks pleadingly into your eyes. Bodie will need lots of care for many months. Could you contribute to this sweet 2 year old boy's upkeep?

BODIE--brought to life & enjoying his new home with his best buddy, Jones! We had him on the B.A.R.F. (Bones And Raw Food) diet for 6 months. So many of you wanted to adopt him & some were generous with your time & money. He is now in a loving home with his mom & dad & Jones. There were many people here who contributed to Bodie's well being. Joanne rescued him, Nancy took him in at the Kennels & Denise prepared, donated & delivered his food. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE CONTACTED US TO INQUIRE ABOUT BODIE & who helped in so many ways to care for him.

ARIE might be a Chesapeake/Anatolian cross, born in 2001. Arie was the pack leader of 31 dogs & is friendly with 2 little visiting dogs. Her owner died & the dogs were rescued by various shelters. She loves people & getting attention. Arie rides well, preferring the front seat. Enjoying life with her foster, she only barks to warn of strangers. Leash trained, she goes for walks with him & loves snow. She has been taken to nursing homes & has no problem with wheelchairs & walkers. She can open gate latches. Arie is a wonderful, wise dog who deserves a home where she will be respected.

ARROW is a Hound/Pointer cross, 2 years old & weighing 60 lbs. She's spayed & current on shots. Sweet & very smart, Arrow loves attention & wants to be part of her fosters' family. She was found running down the street where she had been for 2 weeks. Almost house- & crate-trained, Arrow walks well on leash & knows "sit". She's good with kids & dogs. Riding contentedly in a car, Arrow lies down & sleeps. She doesn't dig & barks occasionally. Not dominant nor food aggressive, Arrow Is an escape artist & needs a high fenced yard because of how high she can jump.
